Japan’s Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Center (JPCERT/CC) has issued a series of urgent security advisories targeting widely used enterprise and consumer software, urging Japanese organizations and users to apply patches immediately.
Among the most pressing warnings are three separate advisories concerning vulnerabilities in Adobe Acrobat and Reader (APSB26-44, APSB26-43, and APSB26-26). These flaws could potentially allow attackers to execute arbitrary code or compromise systems through maliciously crafted PDF files — a common attack vector in phishing campaigns frequently observed across the Asia-Pacific region.
JPCERT/CC also flagged a critical out-of-bounds read vulnerability (CVE-2026-3055) affecting Citrix NetScaler ADC and NetScaler Gateway, products widely deployed in Japanese corporate and government network environments. If exploited, this flaw could expose sensitive data or enable further network intrusion.
Additionally, a vulnerability (CVE-2025-53521) in F5 BIG-IP Access Policy Manager has been highlighted. F5 products are extensively used by financial institutions and large enterprises throughout Japan and the broader APAC region, making this advisory particularly significant.
Organizations are strongly advised to review each advisory on the JPCERT/CC website and apply all available vendor patches without delay to minimize exposure to potential cyberattacks.
