Chinese government-linked hackers have targeted the phone communications of former President Donald Trump and vice presidential nominee JD Vance as part of a much broader cyber-espionage effort aimed at high-level US targets. No one knows if it is related to Chinese government sponsored, but there is no motivation to hack the Trump’s phone from the hacker’s point of view. Evil hackers generally pursue the money so they invent ransomware typed malware for easy going to get straight revenues.
We call “Red hacker alliance” as the organization, there are teams of anonymous hackers called RHAs that work together to form a single team, an agile movement that collaborates on a single objective. This team has no substance and ceases to exist when a project is completed. In other words, there is no leader who takes the leadership role of the group. Maybe they’re even hiring a terrific hacker from North Korea to do the job for them.
